Many of Lisa’s costumes, as well as custom millinery, wigs, fine art, and accessories, are available through her online store LittlePennyLane.com. In addition, Lisa also performs and sings in a variety of styles, from pop to jazz to Broadway.
Lisa is a true renaissance woman, creating works of art in nearly every medium. By age 16 Lisa was a published songwriter in the Songwriters of America book, was featured on nation-wide radio ads for Verizon Wireless, recorded an album of original music compositions, won several awards for her fine art, performed live on various radio stations, and had been photographed, interviewed, and published in the book Girl Culture by renowned photojournalist Lauren Greenfield.
Enjoying the Halloween costumes her mother would make for her, and learning to sew on her grandmothers’ 1910 Singer sewing machine, Lisa quickly took to costume design. Not long after making her first costume at age 16, she enrolled at the California Institute of Arts, where she would develop a love for period wear and corsets. After studying at Calarts Lisa worked as a freelance designer for several years, designing and fabricating costumes for stage productions, short films, and music videos, including a two-issue full-page advertisement in Vogue Magazine for TJ Maxx, and costumes for Universal Studios and Disneyland theme parks.
Lisa’s costumes have since become some of the most shared on the Internet. Her original pieces have inspired fans, costumers, and even theme parks to aim higher and think bigger when making a character come to life. Her company True Enchantment Entertainment, allows her to bring her costumes – and characters – to life. Through True Enchantment and her growing online Etsy store, Lisa has made a name for herself synonymous with absolute perfection in the costume industry.
